Melissa Snyder has worked with Todd Foster since 2020 as an integral part of the white-collar/criminal defense and complex civil litigation team.

Melissa graduated magna cum laude from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame in 2017, where she earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Melissa earned the Presidential Merit Scholarship and received an award for achieving the highest academic achievement in the business department. She then graduated cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 2020. While in law school, Melissa interned at public defender offices in Michigan and Florida and served as a student clinician for the Michigan State University College of Law Immigration Clinic, which received the AILA Pro Bono Championship Award in 2020. Melissa received the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for her advocacy and the results achieved for her clients during her time in the clinic.

Melissa’s practice ranges from state court matters to complex federal investigations. She achieves favorable results for her clients, both in and out of the courtroom. Since 2021, Melissa has been part of successful trial teams, earning acquittals in one case defending against federal wire fraud allegations, and in another defending a young accountant charged with vehicular homicide. Short of trial, Melissa has achieved a number of successes for her clients in matters ranging from state criminal allegations to federal financial and conspiratorial schemes.
