Natalia Silver

Natalia SilverNatalia Silver joined the Barnett, Bolt, Kirkwood, Long, Koche & Foster, P.A. after serving as an Assistant State Attorney for the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office for the past 14 years.  During her time with the State Attorney’s Office, she gained extensive trial and motion practice experience.  Natalia has tried over 100 felony cases to jury verdict, including over 20 Homicide cases to jury verdict.

Natalia has vast experience in the examination of medical experts in multiple fields of practice including forensic pathology, anatomical pathology, forensic neuropathology, neurology, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, general surgery, and orthopedic surgery, pharmacology toxicology, and forensic psychology and psychiatry.

Natalia’s experience also includes handling various types of scientific evidence, including DNA evidence and serology, firearm identification, bullet trajectory analysis, tire and foot impression evidence, fiber evidence; and bloodstain pattern analysis, crime scene reconstruction and accident reconstruction.

Natalia Silver was raised in South Carolina, and graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology, and a minor in Communications where she wrote her Senior Exit paper on nonverbal communications and its effect on juries in both criminal and civil trials.  During her four years of college, she competed in the National Trial Team Competition for 4 years and won number one advocate in the country receiving the top honor of Best Advocate and the All-American Award.

After college, Natalia relocated to Florida to attend Stetson University College of Law as it was ranked the number one law school in trial advocacy in the United States.  Natalia graduated at the top of her class, and was invited to join Law Review where she became a Senior Associate and was published.  She was also selected to join the Nationally recognized Stetson Trial Team where she again received the top honor and won number one advocate in the nation receiving the Outstanding Trial Advocate in the National Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition in Chicago, Illinois.
